Summer Camp 2019
Yes summer is fast approaching! FINALLY! That means HGA Summer Camp!
Registration for Summer Camp has already begun. Registration is online only.
We will be doing lots of gymnastics, theme related crafts, and games. You can sign up for the full week, or by the day!!!!
This year we will be running 6 weeks of camp starting July 8th. Please note we will NOT run camp during the short week of the Civic Holiday August 5-9th.
Summer Evening Recreational Classes
Once again we will be running our Evening Summer Recreational classes. You can either come Wednesdays or Thursdays (you must stay with the same day through the summer).
Classes will run 8 weeks from July 3rd - August 22nd. This nice short session is a great way to keep up your skills over the summer, and a great way for beginners to try for the first time.
Registration will be online shortly.
Look for our Fall 2019 schedule to come out this month!
Chocolate Bar Update:
Thank you to everyone who sold and ate chocolate bars to raise money for new equipment. We were able to raise close to $10,000.00 to purchase lots of new equipment. Check out our Facebook or Instagram for pictures of the new equipment (note: the pink bar rail is on back order and should arrive shortly).
Coach of the Month
Congratulations to Savannah Tarantella this month’s Coach of the Month. Savannah started out in our recreational program many years ago, and moved to our Advanced Recreational Aerials program. This is Savannah’s first year coaching and she is doing an awesome job! Savannah loves coaching and it shows. She genuinely loves working with the kids, and the kids love having Savannah as a coach. Way to go Savannah!
C.I.T. of the Month
Congratulations to Dahlia Luong this month’s CIT of the Month. This is Dahlia’s first year as a CIT and she is amazing! Dahlia is also one of our competitive gymnasts which means she trains 20hrs a week and still finds time to come in and work as a CIT. Dahlia just loves gymnastics and she is sharing her love of the sport with all our up and coming gymnasts. Dahlia’s sweet nature is appreciated by our shyer gymnasts, and we see it on the smiles of her students. Way to go Dahlia!
